    who are we?

    Hayley Grace is an Australian singer and songwriter with an unmistakable sound, together with The Bay Collective- a raucous seven to nine-piece band with an all female line up,  featuring a full horn section. The collective’s diverse talents make for an eclectic mix of styles that embody the spirit 70s funk and soul, with lashings of reggae, RnB and Hip Hop…….Dont try too hard to put a label on it, just enjoy the ride.

    Led by Hayley, The Bay Collective live shows are loud, fun, cheeky and overflowing with energy. You feel this band when they walk on stage. Featuring a roster of the Byron Bay region’s most prominent vocalists and multi-instrumental talents, The Collective’s dynamic performances are always lively and no two shows are exactly alike. 

    Hayley is a powerhouse performer with an incredibly diverse range of global experience, having toured extensively around the world. Locally, she has graced the stages of Bluesfest, Blues on Broadbeach and Caloundra Music Festival and toured with icons like UB40, Phil Emmanuel and Darren Middleton (Powderfinger). 

    Hayley created The Bay Collective in 2017 during an epic jam session on the back deck of her property overlooking the farmlands behind Byron Bay. After being invited to play at the world famous Byron Bay Bluesfest in 2018, the band clocked up an impressive run of gigs and residencies up and down the east coast of Australia in the last 7 years. They released their debut EP, High Vibes, in 2020 which is a high energy, high vibe collection of tracks to get you feeling good.

    The Collective have already released a brand new reggae banger "Mary Jane' in March 2024 and they aren't slowing down, with 5 new singles on the way for the rest of 2024, as well as some exciting fesivals headlines, keep updated by following us on all your favourite socials.
